What is Neurotherapy and How Does It Work?

Neurotherapy is a system of treatment that focuses not only on specific diseases but on the overall balance of the body. According to its founder, Dr. Lajpat Rai Mehra, every living being has an extraordinary, mysterious inner power that maintains health. God has designed the body in such a way that all essential functions for its sustenance can take care of themselves.

Neurotherapy is a completely safe form of treatment in which the patient does not depend on external chemicals or medicines for recovery. Instead, the therapy works by temporarily regulating the blood flow—either restricting it or increasing it—for a fixed duration depending on the illness.

The first step in Neurotherapy is to identify the root cause of the disease. According to this system, the major causes of illnesses are:

  1. Digestive Disorders (Poor Functioning of the Stomach/Intestines):
If the digestive system does not function properly, food cannot be digested correctly, and the body does not absorb essential nutrients. This weakens the body and leads to diseases. Problems such as gas, constipation, and acidity are often ignored, but if left untreated, they may result in chronic issues like migraines, arthritis, insomnia, fatigue, impotence, mental stress, ulcers, diabetes, and anemia.

  2. Improper Functioning of Glands or Organs:
Even if digestion is fine, disease may occur if a gland or organ is not performing properly. This means it is not producing the hormones or chemicals it should—often due to insufficient blood supply—causing illness.

  3. Acid-Alkaline Imbalance in the Body:
The body requires a balance between acid and alkaline levels.

    • Excess Acid can cause constipation, low blood pressure, skin disorders, hypothyroidism, cancer, and epilepsy.

    • Excess Alkaline can lead to high blood pressure and hyperthyroidism.

By understanding such causes, Neurotherapy treats a wide variety of illnesses. To normalize the function of a gland, pressure is applied to increase or decrease the function of other glands, thereby restoring balance.

For example:

  • In diseases caused by low immunity (like septicemia, fever, infections, sinusitis), the functions of glands such as the thymus, liver, spleen, and lymph nodes are stimulated to strengthen resistance.

Thus, Neurotherapy is the process of normalizing the functions of all glands with the help of controlled blood regulation.

  1. Genetic Causes:
Some hereditary conditions, like diabetes, may also be treated by addressing the body’s functional imbalances.

Method of Treatment

  • No machines, instruments, or external tools are used.

  • Treatment is given by applying controlled pressure with the hands and feet at specific points on the patient’s body for a fixed duration.

  • The therapy has no side effects.
